Rumor! Animal Crossing Wii will appear at E3

10 07 2008

According to Wii Fanboy, Tom West of Official Nintendo Magazine stated in his blog that Animal Crossing Wii will make a showing at E3.  The exact words were:

Animal Crossing Wii will be unveiled at the conference.

Clearly, he was referring to E3.  The announcement must not have sat well with The Big ‘N, because the blog post now reads:

….everyone is hoping that Animal Crossing Wii will be there.

Also, GAFers have allegedly discovered the title on Nintendo Norway’s 2008 release list.  Take this info as you will, but these events look to be further confirmation of what we already knew.  Animal Crossing is surely at E3 this year.

There are two things I really care about this E3, as far as Nintendo concerned: A storage solution for the Wii, and Animal Crossing for the Wii. So, I’m very much looking forward to what Nintendo says about the franchise.

Of course, I’ll be keeping my eyes and ears open for the next-gen DS, as well.
