Kid Icarus and Animal Crossing Wii to Be Shown at E3? UPDATED!

20 06 2008

The official website UGOs E3 site (E3.net) has updated their list of Wii games that will be shown at the expo. Two of the games listed are very exciting!

Animal Crossing Wii
Nintendo’s much-loved Animal Crossing series finally arrives for the Wii. Not really a game and not really a simulator, Animal Crossing falls somewhere in between as players live a virtual life in a village populated by anthropomorphized animals. The games have always unfolded in real time, featuring day/night cycles as well as seasonal changes. For its Wii iteration, Animal Crossing will offer online support via WiiConnect24.

AND

Kid Icarus Wii
Released way back in 1987 for Nintendo Entertainment System, Kid Icarus remains one of the most challenging video games out there. A 1991 sequel for Nintendo’s Game Boy failed to do much for the series, which has wallowed as nothing more than a fanboy dream remake ever since. Until now. Kid Icarus Wii has moved from fantasy to reality and that’s a very good thing.

Woot! The Wiicast will be at Nintendo’s press confrence and will bring you all of the news as it’s announced.

EDIT: not the offical E3 site so it’s a rumor…for now

I want to believe it’s true, but I’m not sure. There are two Activision games there. So something must be wrong.

Gotta love the way how Nintendo wastes time, money and energy on bullcrap like animal crossing.
