Don’t Care for Wii Fit? Why Not Try We Move?

17 06 2008

Last week, the incredibly odd game footage above was revealed on Youtube, and discovered by Balance Board Blog. The video details a creepy scene of a low-poly woman jogging to the sound of a ticking clock. The guys at Balance Board Blog contacted the Youtube poster and apparently the title is in development.

Wii Move is the first Project from PheroseSoft, a small 7 man team, made up from past members of EA Canada Burnaby and Rockstar North. The game looks to but an unexpected slant on the Wii Balance Board. Look for Wii Move to hit the download service in quarter four 08.

A new video of this odd Wiiware title was posted yesterday, as well. Here’s what a presumed representative of PheroseSoft told Balance Board Blog about the next clip.

New trailer is now live for Wii Move Oops, I mean We Move! Enjoy! I do hope you have a sense of humor…

The footage above seems to paint We Move as an erotic dating game. [If this game does exist,] this has got to be one of the strangest Wiiware titles in development.

uhhhhhhhhh, this can’t possibly be for real can it?

I mean, I’m all for Nintendo moving beyond the squeaky-clean family fun into more “serious” games.

… but there ain’t no way Nintendo would allow this game to happen is there?? it just looks like it should be named “Wii Deviant Sexually / Sexual Predator Channel” =P

I’m not upset or offended by this… I just think it would be a suicidal business move for the big N.

I dunno, is this all a big joke that just went over my head?? I sure hope so =P
