Zelda2008.com Gets Our Hopes Up

24 11 2007

A mysterious website has arrived concerning Zelda. Zelda2008.com is just a teaser site at the moment, whit just a “Coming Soon” message. Kotaku is quick to point out that it’s probably, most likely, not an official website. See, Nintendo usually registers it’s domains through a company called “Network Solutions” and zelda2008.com is registered through “Godaddy”. I’m inclined to believe Kotaku…but my hopes are up (just a little).

About That RE:UC Review….

24 11 2007

Okay guys I screwed up. I Clearly did not have enough time with RE:UC to warrant a review. I’ve just finished. Contrary to what I had said in the review, the Zapper controls are actually really good. All of my complaints about the controls faded away. It’s a case of RTFM. I’m completely sure that I’m not the first reviewer to come into this problem and I won’t be the last. However, The score of the game remains an 8.0. It’s a solid game, an excellent rail shooter and a treasure trove for RE fans. However I still think the pace is a bit slow even though the later levels pick up a bit. Sorry for the confusion. Sound off on the message boards about the game!

The Officially Licenced Wii Tower Gaming Station

23 11 2007

This is pretty sweet. While shopping at Walmart yesterday i ran across the officially licenced Wii Tower Game Station. This thing is really cool. It’s shiny, has the Wii logo on it and holds 18 games, 4 remotes or nunchucks, the Wii console and more. I picked it up for $69.99. It’s sleek and stylish. A perfect addition to any Wii fans living/game room. Check out the Flickr set below.

Has it really been a year?

19 11 2007

I’d like to take a moment and Say…

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY WII!

I still find it a little hard to believe, that 1 year ago, i was waiting in line outside of a target with 3 of my friends and 100+ other people, playing DS, 30 minute power naps, walks to the line in front of the best buy while a friend stays to guard our place too see how they were doing (the target line, a.k.a. us, was much better!) and best of all, tons of Nintendo fans talking about what will happen after the sun raises and the Wii is released. That’s right, one year ago, everybody wanted the system with the goofy name, the one that was supposed to not sell at all. The last Nintendo system. The console that came in this box.

Lets rejoice at all the fun games we’ve had a chance too play. Wii Sports, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers Charged, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Battalion Wars 2, Zack and Wiki, Guitar Hero 3, and the most recent innovative masterpiece, Super Mario Galaxy! And more beyond those.

But the next year will be rolling in soon with some equally amazing games. For starters we have Mario Kart Wii, Wii Fit, No More Heroes, all the new Wii Ware games, and of course, the Highly Anticipated Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

So i hope you give thanks for all the fun opportunities Nintendo has presented us up to now and those to Come.
